Clubs size their kit standing up. That is why it never fits on the bike.
Customized Cycling Jerseys makes kit to order — race fit, club fit, long-sleeve thermals, gravel and MTB jerseys, packable gilets, and ongoing club kit programmes with single-item reorders.

A cycling jersey is the only shirt most people own that is cut for a position they are not in when they try it on.
The back panel is longer than the front, the sleeves are set forward, and the side seams are shaped for a rider bent over the bars. So the jersey that hangs beautifully and looks right in a clubhouse mirror is usually a size too big, and it will ride up at the back and flap at the front on the first descent.
We send a sizing set with every club order and we ask riders to check the fit on the bike. It costs us a week and it removes almost every exchange, which is a trade we will take every time.
Why we exist
Club kit gets quoted on price per unit and sized off a chart, by suppliers who have never asked what position the rider is in.
So the whole club is bought in race fit and a third of it is never worn. The sponsor block gets heat-pressed across the back, where it sits like a plastic panel over the one area that has to breathe. And a rider joins in June and the club is told the minimum order is fifty.
Cut for the drops, not the mirror
Short at the front, long at the back, sleeves forward. On a hanger it reads as slightly wrong; on a bike it is the only cut that sits flat.
That also means fit choice matters more than most clubs think. Race fit for the racers, club fit for everyone else, both on the same order. A jersey a rider dreads putting on is money spent on a garment that stays in a drawer.
Sublimation, because a print sits where you sweat
Sublimation turns the dye into a gas that bonds into the polyester fibre. There is no layer on the surface at all — nothing to trap moisture, nothing to stiffen over a seam, nothing to crack after fifty washes, and no added weight.
A heat-applied transfer across the back of a jersey is a plastic panel over the area that has to breathe hardest. It also cracks first exactly where the fabric stretches most. We do not use it on kit.
The hem is what carries the pockets
Three rear pockets with a phone, a pump and food in them are a genuine load. If the hem is soft, the whole back of the jersey drags down and the pockets bounce on every rough surface.
A proper elasticated hem band with a silicone gripper is what stops that, and it is the first component cut from a cheap jersey because nobody notices it on a photograph.
Kit programmes, because riders join mid-season
The thing that breaks club kit is the new member in June. We hold the design, the colour build and your rider sizing on file as a programme, so one jersey can be made with no new minimum and no new setup.
It also means a reorder actually matches: the colour build is stored rather than re-approved from scratch a year later, which is where colour drift comes from.
How we price
No dollar figures on this site. Price moves with fit, fabric, sleeve length, quantity and whether you run a programme, and it falls steeply at club volumes. Send the details and a real quote comes back the same day, with a lowest-price guarantee if you are already holding a cheaper one.
What we will talk you out of
Race fit for a whole club. A heat-pressed sponsor block. A thermal jersey sold as winter outerwear. A gilet sized to match the jersey rather than to go over it. And three loaded pockets on a jersey for riders who all wear hydration packs.
Every one of those costs us money to say and saves you more.
